How much does a Koeniggsegg cost anyways? My guess would be somewhere around $500 grand. I have never ever seen one on a road, and trust me with the big banking and large-mighty corporations around where I work, I see Aston-Martins, and Bentleys everyday. Only once have I see the Saleen S6 and a couple of times the Ford GT. Again all being driven on the street. I just wish I could drive my car's big brother, which is insane 0-60 in 3.3, INSANE what Nissan did with a frickin V-6.
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it cost closer to $750K or more. All I want is to drive one; I don't want to own one, that's for sure! If I'm going to buy a high-performance saloon car I'll get an Audi R8. Those things are gorgeous. Right now I drive a VW Passat, and even though it's not as fancy or new as the Phaeton (which is another car I'd love to have, especially if it comes in a diesel model) but it handles really well, gets decent gas mileage (30-33 highway), and the Turbo sounds so good when you get the rev-counter really cooking.
Phaeton was a really odd car, pricing was more than the Audis, except for A8 and the cross-over SUV. Can you really get that good of gas mileage? I like how accords are 268 Hp and get 31 on the Hwy. Hel I saw the TL typeS is the same hp as my car at 286 and gets 27 on the hwy, not a light car either. I see a CR-Z in my future, boring, yes.
I can on the highway. Driving around town the best I can get is 25-26. For a big car it does surprisingly well with gas. My car before this one was a horrible Chevy Cavalier (parents bought it for me) and that thing only got 25 mpg highway. I think part of it depends on how you are with the pedal. Staying at a steady speed is better for mileage than speeding up and slowing down a lot.

I was dead set on having my next car be a diesel, but gas companies are really being cruel with diesel prices. I'll stick with this Passat until I run it into the ground. I love the damn thing. Hopefully by that point diesel will be cheaper, hybrids will be more efficient, or I'll live in a big city and can just use public trans.
