I'm not sure why "Help Me" is their first single. I think this song is much better. Now that I think about it, "Help Me" would probably play a bit better on the radio, seeing as this is their "major label debut" or whatever. Overall the album is kind of ... meh. There are a few super catchy songs that I like, and then the rest is pretty mediocre. Which is disappointing for me because the Trio is my favorite band. I even have a Trio tattoo:
Agony & Irony is essentially the same formula as the last two albums (Crimson and Good Mourning), but they don't have a bunch of crappy synth nonsense or keyboards or anything like that. It's not that I don't like those things, it's that they don't belong on a punk rock album. Come on, people.
